Suprise inside table

I made this table with a mirror bottom and a plate glass top. I added sand and colored stones inside. This so far is one of my favorites. The glass plate can be lifted out and the contents removed and one can add their own choice of filling inside. :) A table you can costumize over and over and over and even theme to the holidays. :)

Small tables

As with the work table previously posted I used the wood 'legs' that were given to me and scraps of wood left over from the porch swings. I have a couple of really really cool ideas in my head for some other small wood tables like this but with character...just wait...I should have them done in a few days - I'm excited about them. These tables are great for dorm rooms or small apartments.

Wood Swing No. 3

Here is my latest swing order. The customer wanted a 'browning' symbol in the headboard - so I cut that out with my jig saw, sanded it, and painted the inside brown. I used my wood burner to do the mountains and trees and a little bit of stain. This customer wanted 2 cup holders in each side...said he gets 'real' thirsty :) All I have left to do on this swing is drill the holes for the eyebolts and put them in and put on the bottoms of the cup holders.

Below is the finished swing with cup holders, eyebolts, an two browning shooter marbles incorporated into the headboard.

Work Table

I had a bunch of wood legs like for tables or stair rails given to me and I've been tryin' to be creative with them and my scraps of wood from the porch swings I've been buildin' :). I thought - how cool would it be to inset a metal grate(much like a piece of glass on an end table) into a wood frame for a work table for my boyfriend. Then if he has something 'hot' from welding or 'wet' from painting to dry it would get air all around it. I also put a small metal hook on three sides so he could hang stuff to dry or cool or what ever he deems necessary. It was easy to use the table saw to cut my inset edges. I painted the legs brown (cause they all have a light yellow primer on them), left the wood frame natural, cut out my center with a grinding wheel, wire brushed the steel grate(as it was rusty from sittin' around doin' nothin' :) and painted that silver. I screwed it fast in the corners and wah-lah! Now I have this awesome work table to give him tonight! :)

Soup Cans Or Candle Cans? (older project)

My sister gave me the awesome idea to make empty soup cans into candle cans. I did mine a little different, instead of freezing water in them in order to take hammer and nail to make the holes in the design I used the dremel to make the holes along the design I had drawn. I painted some this rust color, some blue, some green and painted the actual design. Put on the wire handles and a small votive candle inside. :) worked great to give out at the work Christmas party. :) Thanks to WigetWorm for the idea!

Christmas Moose Stocking(older project)

I decided to make a matching Christmas stocking for my son's wife when they got married. He had a moose stocking for years and I thought it would be cute to make a more 'girlie' type moose stocking to match. His is the one on the left. I found material and buttons to match close enough

and put it together.
